Included SIM card#

Updated October 19, 2026

The Gardix security system comes with a Vodafone Ukraine SIM card. It is intended specifically for Gardix: it provides a stable connection to the server and access to all system functions without restrictions.

The installer inserts the SIM card into the SIM 1 slot of the central unit during installation. After installation, ask the installer for the SIM card number: you'll need it to top up the balance and to sign in to My Vodafone.

Getting started#

  1. The SIM card is inserted into the central unit and the security system is turned on.
  2. The SIM card is activated automatically.

After activation, the service is free until the 1st of the following month. For example, if the system was turned on on March 10, the first plan charge is on April 1.

The "Vodafone IoT Pro" plan#

The SIM card uses the Vodafone IoT Pro corporate plan for telematics and security systems.

Term Value
Price UAH 50 per month
Charged monthly, on the 1st
Mobile internet in Ukraine and the EU 1500 MB
Mobile internet in roaming (other countries) 15 MB
SMS in Ukraine and the EU 100 SMS
Billing increment 1 KB

Money on the balance above the plan price doesn't expire and carries over to the next month, so you can top up for several months at once.

Current plan terms on the Vodafone website (in Ukrainian):

Keep an eye on the balance

If the balance isn't enough to pay for the plan, the security system loses connection and can't send notifications or execute commands. The SIM card balance is shown in the Gardix app in the Sim card field on the main screen.

Managing the SIM card in My Vodafone#

To check the balance and manage the number, use the My Vodafone app: download.

To sign in:

  1. Install and open My Vodafone.
  2. Enter the number of the included SIM card.
  3. Select Sign in with PUK.
  4. Enter the 8-digit PUK1 code printed on the SIM card package.

The SIM card PUK1 and the Gardix PUK code are different codes

The PUK1 from the SIM card package is only needed to sign in to My Vodafone. The car's PUK code from the Customer Card is the security system's master code, see Where to find your car's codes.
